Job summary

Liricare is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists to support a growing school-based program in San Joaquin County, California. We currently anticipate hiring one full-time and one part-time SLP.

The program includes a mix of speech-only and resource-based caseloads, with in-person work strongly preferred; hybrid or virtual options may be considered based on clinician availability and district needs. You will conduct speech and language assessments, provide direct therapy, complete progress reports

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Active California SLP license or eligibility required.
  • ASHA CCCs preferred; CF candidates may be considered.
  • School-based experience preferred; strong communication and collaboration skills required.
  • Experience with IEPs and special education documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and observations.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services.
  • Complete progress reports and IEP documentation.
  • Attend and lead IEP meetings.
  • Participate in SST and multidisciplinary meetings.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Liricare is hiring Speech-Language Pathologists to support a growing school-based special education program in San Joaquin County, California. We currently anticipate hiring:

  • One Full-Time SLP
  • One Part-Time SLP

The program supports students across a combination of speech-only and resource-based caseloads within a collaborative educational setting focused on communication growth, student support, and long-term outcomes.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and families while maintaining a more balanced and manageable caseload compared to many traditional school-based settings.

  • Conducting speech and language assessments and observations
  • Providing direct speech-language therapy services
  • Completing progress reports and IEP documentation
  • Attending and leading IEP meetings
  • Participating in SST and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Maintaining compliant and timely documentation
  • Supporting students with a variety of communication needs within a school-based setting

The district strongly prefers in-person providers to support collaboration, student engagement, and campus integration. However, hybrid or virtual service models may be considered depending on clinician availability and district needs.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

$60–$70/hour on W-2
