Job summary

Citrus Health and Rehabilitation in Inverness, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support residents in our rehab program. The role focuses on recovering speech, language, swallowing and cognitive function for patients in our care.

You will create and administer individualized treatment plans, instruct patients in communication techniques, and educate families about strategies to improve communication and safety.

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least 1 year of Skilled Nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and administer individualized plans of treatment for patients.
• Instruct clients in communication techniques, including sign language and voice improvement.
• Educate patients and families about communication strategies and coping methods.
• Coordinate with the dietary department regarding meals for patients with swallow dysfunctions.
