Job summary

Highland Park Skilled Nursing & Wellness Centre in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct patient care in our rehab program. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP or license eligibility in California.
• Experience in skilled nursing rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment programs to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Document services in medical records and communicate with families and physicians.
• Supervise Clinical Fellows and other SLPs in direct patient care.
• Write accurate, complete documentation meeting regulatory and billing requirements.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team and participate in team conferences.
• Maintain safe working practices and professional standards.
