Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in Tarboro, NC is seeking a Speech Therapist to help residents regain communication and swallowing skills. Compensation ranges from $100,000-$130,000 annually.

You will assess, treat, and educate, collaborate with a healthcare team, and maintain EMR records. A Master’s in SLP and state licensure are required, with 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in SLP from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure as an SLP.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience with adults or elderly patients.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and record-keeping.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Provide therapeutic services and exercises to improve communication.
• Educate patients and families on strategies for progress.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to monitor patient progress.
• Maintain accurate records of goals and improvements.
• Stay current with advances in speech therapy and apply new techniques.
