Required is a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or speech therapy, active licensure, and a patient-centered, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology or speech therapy.
• Licensure and certification as required.
• Experience with disorders and geriatric population is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, resourceful problem-solver able to work with families and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, screen, and treat language, speech, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with patient, family, and physicians to design effective plans.
• Apply evidence-based therapies and incorporate innovative techniques.
• Educate patients and families about speech disorders and therapies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient history and progress.
• Evaluate progress and adjust therapy programs as needed.
