Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to independently assess and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will document evaluations, plan evidence-based therapy, and monitor patient progress, collaborating with the care team.

Responsibilities include interdisciplinary team participation, patient care staffing, and providing mentorship and staff education as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Successful completion of CCC-SLP.
• Florida SLP license and CPR certification.
• ASHA membership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluates, diagnoses, and treats speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Complete assessments within departmental timeframes and document findings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress with regular updates.
• Collaborate with supervisors and staff for therapy planning and modality selection.
• Provide at least one in-service to staff annually.
