Job summary

Rockdale Healthcare Center seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to plan and administer a speech therapy program for patients/residents in rehabilitation after illness, disease or injury.

Responsibilities include reviewing referrals and records, planning and writing treatment programs, coordinating with physicians and staff, documenting progress, supervising aides, and participating in department meetings and policy updates.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech language pathology with CCC or CFY in progress.
• Licensed in the state where practicing.
• Prior experience in speech pathology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and patient records to determine treatment.
• Plan and prepare written treatment programs based on evaluations.
• Confer with physicians to integrate therapy with care.
• Document patient progress and treatment responses.
• Supervise therapy aides and train students as needed.
• Assist in recruitment and department budget planning.
