Job summary

Kensington Health and Rehab is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to plan and administer therapeutic programs for residents. The role requires analyzing referrals, evaluating data, and coordinating with physicians to tailor care.

You will document progress, supervise aides, train students, and participate in policy updates and budget planning. Travel within local area may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid CCC certification or in CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) completed or in progress.
• Licensed to practice in the state where practicing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer a speech therapy program to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Review referrals and patient records to determine treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists to integrate care.
• Record treatment progress and outcomes.
• Supervise speech therapy aides and supervise clinical training for students.
• Diagnose and evaluate speech, language, swallowing, and related skills.
• Plan, direct and conduct treatment programs to restore communicative efficiency.
• Maintain third-party documentation and confidentiality.
• Participate in department meetings and budget planning.
