Job summary

A Speech-Language Pathologist is needed at Anaheim Regional Medical Center to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders. The role spans adult to geriatric populations in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Under Rehab leadership, the SLP will formulate and revise plans of care, discharge planning, and provide patient-family education. California licensure and CCC-SLP are required, with strong communication and documentation

Qualifications

Master's degree in speech-language pathology is required.
Current California licensure to practice SLP is required.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required.
Driver license may be required for some duties.

Responsibilities

Screen and evaluate patients for speech, language, cognition, and swallowing.
Develop, revise, and document plans of care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Provide and document treatment for communication and feeding disorders.
Plan patient discharge from speech pathology services and coordinate with care teams.
Educate patients, families, and staff about impairments and care plans.
Participate in patient-care conferences and maintain timely documentation.
Comply with hospital policies, ethics, and professional standards.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, case managers, patients, and staff.
