Job summary

Odyssey Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist to organize and conduct speech/language programs within the ORTS rehabilitation setting. The clinician will evaluate clients, develop goals, and implement treatment plans while coordinating adaptive communication devices and collaborating with the rehab team.

The role requires a Master’s in Speech/Language Pathology, state licensure (or eligibility), and CCC or Clinical Fellow eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Must hold state license or be eligible for licensure.
  • Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology.
  • ASHA CCC or Clinical Fellow eligibility required.
  • Strong organizational and time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients and develop and document speech therapy goals and plans.
  • Coordinate adaptive communication devices and train clients in their use.
  • Select activities matching client abilities and interests.
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation team to choose best therapy regimen.
  • Instruct and evaluate client progress, adapt program as needed.
  • Attend care conferences and train staff in speech therapy techniques.
  • Manage supplies and supervise supportive personnel; report equipment needs.
  • Maintain high quality, compassionate care for residents and families.
