Job summary

Odyssey-Rehabilitation in Virginia seeks a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist to organize and conduct speech and swallowing therapy programs for ORTS to aid rehabilitation and functional communication.

The role includes evaluating clients, developing goals, implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, supervising staff, and coordinating adaptive devices. A Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• Certified or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competency from ASHA, or eligible for Clinical Fellow.
• Eligible to participate as Clinical Fellow under state guidelines.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates clients and develops treatment goals and methods.
• Implements speech therapy plans and completes documentation.
• Coordinates adaptive communication devices and instructs clients in their use.
• Collaborates with rehabilitation team to select appropriate regimens.
• Instructs on participation in activities and evaluates progress.
• Supervises supportive personnel and maintains equipment.
