Job summary

Osceola Medical Center seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and provide services across the lifespan in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
• Must hold appropriate certifications and licensures.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Speech Language Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing evaluations and treatments per care standards.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans based on patient progress.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation staff, patients, and caregivers to optimize outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans, home programs, and safety.
• Complete accurate documentation, billing, and communication per standards.
• Maintain equipment, infection prevention, licensure, and continuing education requirements.
• Participate in department meetings, quality improvement, and program development.
