Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the practicing state.
• ASHA CCC or Clinical Fellowship eligibility.
• Ability to practice Speech/Language Pathology per state guidelines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates clients, develops treatment goals, implements plans, and documents services.
• Coordinates adaptive communication devices and trains clients in their use.
• Selects activities based on client abilities and interests.
• Consults with rehabilitation team to tailor therapy regime.
• Instructs clients in skills for participation and monitors progress.
• Adapts programs to client needs and attends related meetings.
• Conducts training for staff in speech therapy techniques and objectives.
• Maintains supplies and equipment and reports repairs.
• Supervises support staff per state and professional standards.
