Job summary

Providence Seward Mountain Haven in Seward, AK is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for day shifts. The role includes a $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Develops, coordinates and maintains Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians and the care team. Assists in direct patient care and ensures care is delivered per ASHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Alaska SLP License or Alaska Temporary License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Driver's license and auto insurance may be required.
• CFY candidates will be considered with commitment after licensure.

Develops, coordinates and maintains Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patient/family. Assists in direct patient care. Collaborates with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with standards and guidelines established by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Upon hire: Alaska Speech Language Pathologist License or
• Upon hire: Alaska Speech Language Pathologist Temporary License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• Upon hire: CFY candidates will be considered, with commitment of continued employment after certification and full licensure.
