Job summary

Pinellas County Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to independently evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in an inpatient rehab setting. You will develop treatment plans and coordinate services with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes collaboration, timely delivery of care, and adherence to high-quality rehabilitation standards to support patient recovery and functional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current State Speech/Language Pathology License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and determine treatment strategies for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver and/or delegate speech-language pathology services to meet individualized rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with the inpatient rehabilitation team to optimize patient outcomes.

Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current State Speech/Language Pathology License
