Job summary

Tucson Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to independently evaluate and treat acute or prolonged speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Pay is based on years of experience and qualifications, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The role requires BLS certification and prefers applicants with inpatient rehab experience.

Qualifications

Position Summary:

Independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Desired Qualifications:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
