Job summary

Winder Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our compassionate care team. In this PRN per diem role you will evaluate, plan, and provide patient-centered speech and language services to residents in a skilled nursing environment.

You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized care plans, administer prescribed treatments, supervise support staff, and ensure accurate documentation and timely patient charge submissions while adhering

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred.
• Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting speech and language evaluations and developing individualized care plans
• Administering prescribed treatment modalities to support resident recovery
• Supervising and delegating tasks to support staff, such as OT/PT aides
• Participating in performance improvement, CQI activities, and operational functions of the department
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation and patient charge submissions
• Adhering to infection control, safety, and departmental equipment protocols
