Job summary

Pine Ridge Care Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California to screen and evaluate residents, develop care plans and provide direct treatment within regulatory guidelines. This role involves administering and interpreting specialized tests and supporting residents with swallowing techniques.

Qualifications include an MS in Speech-Language Pathology, California licensure, and certification in clinical competency, with a preference for 1 year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state of California.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
