Overview
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct subjective assessment of assigned patient’s speech language abilities during spontaneous conversation. Administer objective tests to assess patient’s communication assets and liabilities.
- Structure and implement individualized patient program to improve communication abilities.
- Evaluate patient regularly during treatment and adjust program as needed to maximize patient progress.
- Document progress in patient’s chart. Complete notes, charges, discharge notes and patient communication.
- Consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding pre-screen assessments and physician consultations to determine appropriate placement of potential patients.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Speech Pathologist
- Masters Degree
