Job summary

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a PRN role in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Flexible, as-needed shifts allow clinicians to balance patient care with personal commitments while delivering one-on-one therapy and group treatments.

You will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, develop customized plans, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Missouri SLP license.
  • CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred.
  • CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive-communication, and swallowing.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
  • Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
