Job summary

Driftwood Healthcare Center-Hayward is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to assess and treat residents, develop care plans, and administer speech and hearing tests in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

The position offers a salary of $104,000 to $124,800 per year, with a sign-on bonus available and PTO. California licensure is required to practice as an SLP.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification in Clinical Competency.
• Current California license to practice Speech-Language Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Screens and evaluates residents and develops appropriate plan of care.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Works with residents for functional swallow techniques.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
