Job summary

University of Vermont Medical Center is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a per diem role at Helen Porter Nursing Home in Middlebury, VT. The position is part time with no committed hours and is not benefit eligible.

Responsibilities include administering and applying SLP treatment modalities, evaluating and treating patients, and participating in CQI activities. The role supports an interdisciplinary team and aims to restore function and improve quality of life for patients.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Experience with medically complex patients and swallowing assessments recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and direct application of Speech-Language Pathology treatments as prescribed.
• Evaluate, plan, direct and treat patients referred to Speech-Language Pathology.
• Participate in CQI activities and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist Rehabilitation Services Director with delegated administrative duties.
