Job summary

Dignity Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Henderson, NV is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for per diem/PRN assignments. Compensation is $66 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and develops, implements, and adjusts treatment plans per physician direction.
• Leads and directs discipline-specific therapy for assigned patients.
• Designs functional programs to enable return to community activities.
• Educates patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties related to patient care and therapy services.
• Coordinates treatment with other clinical services and community resources.

• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline‑specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
• Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.

• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline‑specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
• Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services as available community resources.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech‑Language & Hearing Association preferred
