Job summary

Coronado Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, NV seeks a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help residents achieve communication goals. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CF/CFY completion or equivalent experience.
• Current CCC-SLP licensure/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents with communication disorders.
• Provide individual and group SLP therapy for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments and progress.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SLP to join our interdisciplinary team. As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat residents with a range of communication disorders, including speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing impairments. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and collaborate with our rehabilitation team to ensure our residents receive comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders and develop treatment plans to address resident needs
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to residents, including speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor resident progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and resident progress
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
