Job summary

OhioHealth Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for per diem coverage in Dublin, OH. The role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a schedule of two shifts per month, including one weekend day, with compensation at $52 per hour.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, directing therapy services, and coordinating treatment with other services to support patient return to community activities.

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist is required.
• CCC or completion in first 90 days of employment is required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
• Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co-workers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline-specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
• Coordinatetreatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services as available community resources.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified CLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association preferred
