Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat children with speech, language, feeding, and swallowing needs in the comfort of their homes across Texas. The role offers flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN) with weekday, after-school, and Saturday slots and opportunities for sign-on bonuses.

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Active Texas SLP license or eligible to obtain by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience supervising assistants preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's needs.
• Provide speech therapy addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing skills.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support growth.
• Educate families on strategies to promote carryover at home.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, high-quality care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
