Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide pediatric home health services. You will evaluate and treat children in their homes, delivering one-on-one care while building strong family partnerships.

The role offers flexible scheduling across full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities with support from clinical supervisors and staff. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, Texas licensure or eligibility, and pediatric

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Texas license or eligible to obtain licensure by start date
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Experience supervising assistants preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's needs
• Provide speech therapy addressing communication, articulation, language, feeding and swallowing
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Educate families and caregivers on strategies to promote carryover at home
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
