Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehabilitation in speech therapy under physician referral, adhering to all governing laws and Life Care standards.

Required are an accredited MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCCs or CFY eligibility, and active state licensure with CPR certification. New grads welcome; one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• ASHA CCCs or eligible for CFY; must maintain credentials.
• Active state license in good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Establish and modify realistic, measurable patient goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care by SLP CFYs (if CCC).
• Follow speech therapy treatment plans for patients under supervision.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Demonstrate professional patient interactions.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies.
• Communicate within an interdisciplinary team.
