Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Assistive Technology Specialist (AAC) | 2 Days per Week | 2026-2027 School Year

Location: Glenview, IL

Schedule: Part-Time | 2 Days per Week | Onsite

School Year: August 12, 2026 – May 21, 2027

Pay: $46-$57 per hour

Approximately 15 hours per week. Onsite. School year: August 12, 2026 – May 21, 2027.

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Serve students from PreK through High School.

Specialized role focused on Assistive Technology and AAC.

Responsibilities

Provide assistive technology and AAC evaluations and recommendations.

Support students using AAC devices and communication systems.

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists, and other related service providers.

Train school staff and families on AAC implementation and best practices.

Assist with programming, troubleshooting, and monitoring communication devices.

Participate in IEP meetings and provide documentation related to assistive technology services.

Help ensure students have the communication tools they need to succeed both academically and socially.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) (or eligibility to obtain).

Experience with AAC and assistive technology is preferred, but clinicians with a strong interest in this specialty are encouraged to apply.

Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
