Job summary

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide a continuum of services for patients with neurological, swallowing, and communication disorders within an interdisciplinary team.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing impairments; develop measurable treatment plans; document progress; and collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to promote optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology with CCC-SLP.
• ASHA certification or license in speech-language pathology.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred to speech therapy and complete initial profile.
• Apply diagnostic and prognostic tests for dysphagia, aphasia, language, voice, and cognitive deficits.
• Establish treatment plans with measurable goals and discharge planning.
• Perform therapeutic interventions for swallowing, voice, speech, language, and cognitive skills.
• Document all patient care activities per standards and payer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians while maintaining confidentiality.
