Job summary

Ironside Human Resources in Converse, Texas is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join a caring healthcare team. This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 5x8 shifts and a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision.

You will evaluate patients' speech, language, voice, and swallowing, guide therapeutic exercises to improve clarity and swallowing safety, and select assistive communication systems when needed. Texas licensure is required or pursued.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification is required.
• Must have previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Must have or be willing to obtain an SLP License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's speech, language, voice, and swallowing skills to identify and diagnose disorders.
• Guide patients through exercises to improve speech clarity, voice quality, and language skills, and strengthen swallowing muscles.
• Select and instruct patients on the use of alternative communication systems when needed.
