Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to help patients regain communication and swallowing skills. You design and implement rehab plans, tailoring them to individual needs and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

You’ll educate patients and caregivers, promote independence, and adapt plans as needed across diverse settings. A collaborative, teaching-oriented approach supports individuals in achieving meaningful communication

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly-titled area.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Help patients get their power back by addressing speech, language and swallowing goals and delivering rehab services.
• Design the plan and work with patients to execute those plans, ensuring effective and efficient delivery.
• Address the whole patient, designing programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities.
• Be adaptable to patient needs and collaborate with peers, referring when needed to ensure patient thrive.
• Educate patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.
