Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide medically prescribed therapy across life span, from child to geriatric patients, following population-specific guidelines and safety goals.

You will deliver care to diverse age groups, evaluate progress, and document outcomes while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current license holder of the Georgia Board.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Graduate of an approved school for Speech and Language Therapy.
• One year internship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medically prescribed therapy to restore function across ages.
• Develop and implement a plan of care aligned with medical findings.
• Evaluate and reassess patients regularly with proper documentation.
• Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document treatment procedures per standards and payer guidelines.
• Aim for cost-effective, high quality patient outcomes and discharge planning.
