Job summary

CentraCare seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate patient needs, design treatment plans and provide services onsite. You will perform independent therapist functions and collaborate with the health care team to meet patient needs.

Your role includes implementing specialized programs, participating in ongoing planning and contributing to patient care in a nonprofit setting with strong PSLF incentives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited university.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Minnesota registration including a CFY temporary license required.
• ASHA CCC certification or CFY completion required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and develop individual treatment plans.
• Provide speech language pathology services and consult with health professionals.

Job description

Join our team in order to prevent, assess, alleviate or correct communication, swallowing or other speech related disorders. Responsible for evaluating patient needs, conducting diagnostic tests/procedures, establishing treatment plans and providing treatments/services accordingly. Responsible for independent therapist functions and delegated therapies which may be performed in collaboration with other health care team members or may be delegated by the therapist to the patient or other informal care givers who reside with the patient. In cooperation with other health professionals, the SLP will develop and implement specialized treatment programs as appropriate to meet patient needs.

Schedule:

• Full-time | Option of 64, 72, or 80 hours every two weeks | Onsite
• Monday- Friday | Every 5th weekend and rotating holidays | 8am-4:30pm

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $81,037.49 per year and increases with experience
• Salary range: $77,563.20- $116,334.40 per year
  • Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

  • This position qualifies for student loan repayment program of up to $15,000, or a hiring bonus of up to $10,000, plus $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited university required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card per established policy required.
• Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Current State of Minnesota Registration (to include a CFY Temporary License from the State of Minnesota required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competencies (CCCs) from ASHA or certification upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year required.
