10 Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for inpatient rehabilitation in collaboration with UM Health Sparrow. The role requires a Master’s in SLP, Michigan licensure, and CCC-SLP or CFY eligibility.

You will evaluate and treat dysphagia and communication disorders, contribute to discharge planning, and work with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CCC-SLP credential or eligible for clinical fellowship year.
• Licensure in the state of Michigan.
• CPR certification kept current as per department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform speech therapy evaluations and develop functional goals with patient/family.
• Provide speech/language and dysphagia treatment within the established plan.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care planning and discharge planning.
• Participate in case conferences, care rounds, and family meetings.
