Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive services in an inpatient rehab and acute care setting in Michigan. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, cognition, feeding and swallowing disorders while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include goal-driven therapy, documentation, and family education, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program.
• State of Michigan SLP licensure or eligible for temporary license during CF.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or provisional status during CF.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, cognition, feeding and swallowing.
• Set patient-centered treatment goals with patient, family and care team.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, document progress per standards.
• Educate patient and family on results and home exercises; provide language interpretation as needed.
