Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or equivalent.
• Active (or eligible) Virginia licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CF candidates may be considered with supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and support students with diverse communication needs.
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and treat students with speech, language, and feeding-related needs.
• Deliver direct therapy in individual and small-group formats.
• Support AAC and functional communication systems across classroom settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, behavior staff, and other clinicians to embed communication supports.
• Document clinical progress with fidelity and comply with standards.
• Partner with families to support carryover of goals across settings.
