Job summary

Solterra School, LLC in Richmond, VA, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join its onsite clinical team. The role supports students with speech, language, feeding, and related needs within an integrated educational model.

You will conduct assessments, plan and implement therapy, support AAC and multimodal communication, collaborate with teachers and therapists, document outcomes with fidelity, and involve families in planning to maximize student learning and independence.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active Virginia licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligible).
  • CCC-SLP preferred; CF candidates considered with supervision.
  • Ability to evaluate and support diverse communication needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, evaluate, and treat speech, language, and feeding-related needs; create functional goals.
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy in individual and small-group formats.
  • Support AAC systems and ensure cross-setting implementation.
  • Embed language supports into classroom instruction and collaborate with teams.
  • Maintain compliant documentation and progress reporting with fidelity.
  • Partner with families to carry over goals across settings.
