Job summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract, part-time role near Windsor Locks, CT. You will support students in grades 6, 7, 8, and the transition population, delivering speech-language therapy three days per week for a total of 18 hours.

Consistency week to week is required. You’ll develop individualized plans, document progress, and participate in PPT meetings with educators and families.

Qualifications

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC-SLP certification.
  • Experience with middle/high/transition-aged students preferred.
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and provide direct interventions.
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort with PPT meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver speech and language therapy for students in grades 6, 7, 8, and the transition population (12+).
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Participate in and contribute to PPT meetings on designated workdays.
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, specialists, and families regarding student needs and progress.
  • Support students’ development of functional communication skills essential for academic and post-secondary success.

Job description

Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students in grades 6, 7, 8, and 12+ (Transition Population) as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Windsor Locks, CT. In this flexible, part‑time role, you'll make a significant impact on students’ communication development and transition success, working three consistent days each week, totaling 18 hours. Key Qualifications & Experience
  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience providing speech and language services to middle, high school, and/or transition‑aged students preferred
