Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract role in a school setting near Norfolk, VA. You will conduct screenings and evaluations, develop tailored IEP-aligned treatment plans, deliver therapy, and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• CCC-SLP eligibility or CCC-SLP certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs and educational goals.
• Deliver direct therapy individually and in group settings.
• Monitor and document student progress in a timely manner.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other school specialists.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on services and progress.
• Provide training and resources to staff and families to maximize support.

Qualifications & Experience Sought

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team
