Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency is required.
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice is required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals as appropriate.
• Evaluate and obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop a treatment plan with target lists, short-term and long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff to ensure carryover of therapeutic goals.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR systems.
• Oversight and implementation of FEES/MBS protocols with site coordination.
• Participate in screening protocols to ensure timely assessment of resident needs.
