Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract role in a Massachusetts school. You will assess students, design and implement individualized plans, and deliver therapy to individuals and small groups under IEP guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold a Masters in SLP with licensure eligibility; CCC-SLP preferred. CFY candidates may be considered, with collaboration among teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred; CFY candidates may be considered.
• Experience in K-12 or pediatric populations.
• Ability to deliver therapy to individuals and small groups.
• Strong collaboration and communication with staff and families.
• Familiarity with IEP processes, data collection, and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct student assessments, screenings, and evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for speech and language goals.
• Provide therapy services to students as indicated on IEPs.
• Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain records.
• Collaborate with general and special education staff and families.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and school initiatives.
• Advocate for students' communication needs throughout the school environment.
