CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey, seeks a Speech/Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for inpatients and outpatients with speech, language, hearing, or swallowing disorders.

You will offer patient and family counseling, coordinate care with other providers, and refer as needed to support recovery and comprehensive care. A Master’s in speech pathology, NJ license, and CCC-SLP are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech pathology required.
• Minimum one year or experience in rehabilitation with adult speech/language-impaired populations preferred.
• NJ Speech Pathology license required.
• CCC-SLP required.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates the patient's performance in speech-language-hearing and swallowing disorders.
• Develops therapeutic plans based on patient assessment and physician orders.
• Observes progress and updates plans as indicated.
• Provides therapy for all types of speech language hearing and swallowing disorders.
• Coordinates care plan with other healthcare providers.
• Educates patient/family regarding disease processes and planned treatment/intervention.
• Evaluates progress and need for further services post-discharge.
• Documents results of evaluations, care plans and patient progress in medical records.
• Maintains productivity within department guidelines.
