Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist II – Inpatient for the Evanston Hospital in Illinois. This full-time role (40 hours) runs Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm with rotating weekends and travel to Skokie, Highland Park, and Glenview as needed.

The position requires IL licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, a Master’s in Speech Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program, and BLS/CPR certification. Inpatient experience and CCC-SLP progress are preferred.

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in IL.
• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• BLS/CPR certification required; CCC-SLP in progress or achieved.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services for physician-referred patients.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records (evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, billing).
• Participate in clinical supervision of students.

Hourly Pay Range: $39.44 - $61.13 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Speech Language Pathologist II – Inpatient - Days
• Location: Evanston Hospital
• Full-Time – 40 hours
• Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pm; Rotating weekends
• Required Travel: Rotating locations- Skokie, Highland Park, Glenview
• Holidays: 1 summer 1 winter holiday or weekend surrounding holiday/shared responsibility with team members

What you will do

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician referred patients

• Participates in the clinical supervision of students

What you will need

• License: Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of IL required
• Education: Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from a university program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required. Holds or is working towards a Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American-Speech-Hearing Association
