Job Description Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist III is responsible for providing treatment and intervention for patients with speech, voice, language, communication, swallowing, and related disabilities. Services are delivered to pediatric and adult populations, in inpatient and outpatient settings. The role includes leadership, mentorship, and supervision of SLP I and SLP II staff.

Education: Postgraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an ASHA-accredited program.
Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year.
Certification/Licensure: Current SC state licensure, ASHA CCC, and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
Ability to perform various physical activities including standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working in confined spaces, bending, twisting, squatting, pinching, grasping, manipulation, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, and visual and auditory acuity.
Additional requirements include the ability to work in stressful situations, rotate shifts, work overtime, and maintain sensory functions.
