Job Description Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist III is responsible for the provision of treatment and intervention for patients with speech, voice, language, communication, swallowing, and related disabilities. Services are provided to Pediatrics & Adults, Inpatient and Outpatient populations. The role includes leadership, mentorship, and supervision of SLP I & SLP II staff.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an ASHA accredited program
  • At least 1 year of work experience
  • Current SC state licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers
Physical and Other Requirements

Ability to perform various physical activities including standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working in different environments, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must have good vision, hearing, tactile, olfactory functions, and the ability to work in stressful situations, rotating shifts, and overtime as needed.
