Job summary

CAIU MAIN OFFICE in Enola, PA seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver therapy for students with speech and language needs. The role requires a Master's degree and PA SLP certification, with ASHA CCCs preferred.

Responsibilities include screenings, evaluations, IEP collaboration, and consultation with families. The position is full-time at the CAIU office with a 190-day schedule, Mon-Fri, 7.5 hours/day, travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Active PA Instructional I or II Certification in Speech/Language Impaired OR Educational Specialist Certification as a School Speech and Language Pathologist required.
• ASHA CCCs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language screenings for referred students.
• Provide a comprehensive evaluation of speech and language skills as part of the multidisciplinary team evaluation/reevaluation for referred and enrolled children/students.
• Participate as a member of the IEP planning team, providing recommendations for instruction in speech and/or language.
• Work with CAIU staff using augmentative communication and assistive devices.
• Report on child/student progress as per program requirements.
• Meet with parents/guardians/family members to confer on progress.
• Complete records to meet timelines and regulations.
• Act as a consultant to CAIU, school district, agency personnel and families regarding speech and language development.
