Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Alpena, MI on a hybrid schedule. You will provide school-based therapy, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans to support K-12 students.

This full-time role requires a current SLP license in Michigan, strong collaboration with teachers and families, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. We offer a supportive environment with regular clinical supervision and opportunities for CEU reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain).
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct formalized assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
  • Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide direct speech therapy aligned with IEP goals.
  • Complete and maintain compliant IEPs and participate in reviews.
  • Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
  • Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
  • Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist- Hybrid Pay Range: 50-55 Job Description: 26/27 School Year | $50-$55/hour | Full-Time | Alpena, MI | Michigan SLP License Required

About the Role:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:
Must Have:
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)
  • DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred:
  • One year of experience in speech therapy
  • Department of Education certification
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
  • Experience with school-based caseload management
