VitalCaring Group in Oklahoma seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to provide expert therapy and health education, aligned with our values: trustworthiness, capability, compassion, proactivity, and dedication. You will perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.

You will implement therapeutic techniques, recommend aids, educate patients and families, document in the EMR, and collaborate with other clinicians.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in speech-language pathology (SLP).
• Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the state or eligible if not yet licensed.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct evaluations and assess home environments to identify speech/language needs.
• Develop and implement plans of care to address functional speech defects.
• Administer specialized therapeutic techniques and recommend communication aids as needed.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on treatment regimes and collaborate with other healthcare personnel.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and participate in discharge planning using the EMR system.
• Attend in-services, case conferences, and meetings to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain clinical competency in speech-language pathology practices.
• May supervise home health aides related to the speech-language therapy plan of care.
