Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to screen, evaluate, and treat patients across our therapy teams in Texas. The ideal candidate will hold CCC-SLP certification, be completing CF supervision, hold a current state license, and demonstrate strong communication with patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients.
• Complete a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate tools and procedures.
• Review patient records for current diagnoses and history.
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans for independence.
• Supervise CFYs, speech interns, and rehab techs as required.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats Patients
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindications
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function
• Supervises CFYs, speech Interns and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act
